Victoria's black Tellicherry Peppercorns are from Peermade, India, a plantation town south of the Idukki district with lush pepper vines and ideal growing conditions. A small cooperative of farmers in Peermade grow and harvest these peppercorns following the strict Tellicherry standards for pepper berry size, color and pungency. The garbled extra bold berries are at least 4.25mm in size, dark in color, with very few light berries and are very dense. The berries have a high presence of volatile oil and piperine. The peppercorns are certified organic.
