Is the brown sugar in this recipe light or dark? Light brown sugar will let you taste the apples more where-as dark brown sugar will give it a molasses flavor therefore I am wondering which flavor this recipe is calling for?

HI CC- Feel free to use whichever brown sugar you prefer! I have certainly made it with both and enjoyed them. I typically do chose the light brown though because I really like to let the apples shine but it comes down to personal preference.

When serving with whipped cream sprinkle a dusting of Apple Pie Spice; on the whipped cream for the finishing touch.
