Blackened Shrimp

I often make this shrimp recipe for family gatherings as we all enjoy food with heat in addition to flavor. 

Ingredients

3 Tablespoons Blackening Rub
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 pound raw shrimp, peeled, deveined
Lemon wedges

Directions

1. In a plastic zip-top or brown paper bag, add the shrimp and Blackening Rub. Close and shake to coat shrimp.
2. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium high heat, melt butter and add shrimp in a single layer. Cook 3 minutes, flip and cook 2 additional minutes.
3. Serve warm with lemon wedges.
