Smoky Paprika Chipotle Swordfish Video Recipe

You are here

I love fresh swordfish and this is my favorite way to prepare it. My Smoky Paprika Chipotle seasoning blend gives a smoky, spicy flavor to the grilled fish that makes it irresistible. Best of all, once you’ve got the swordfish, all you need is two additional ingredients.

For this recipe, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. While that’s preheating, combine my Smoky Paprika Chipotle Swordfish seasoning with three-quarters of a cup of mayonnaise. When the grill is ready, take four swordfish steaks, weighing about one-and-a-half pounds total, and coat one side of each steak with the mayonnaise mixture.

Place the steaks on the grill with the coated side down, then use the remaining mixture to coat the other side. Grill for five minutes, then flip the steaks and grill for five more minutes, or until just cooked through.

And that’s my Smoky Paprika Chipotle Swordfish. This is a great dish for entertaining.

Smoky Paprika Chipotle is almost unbelievably good. Yes, it's great on swordfish, but also try it on grilled tuna steaks. It's excellent on a salad instead of dressing or with just a little bit of olive oil. I also add it to red pepper hummus. The balance of flavor and heat in this blend is perfect.

I found the world's best kept secret two Christmas seasons ago when I found a jar of the Shallots in one of my favorite home goods stores. When I opened the jar, I fell in love with the rich and tantalizing aroma that I wanted to smell all the way home. I could immediately imagine the flavor that it would produce in gravies and sauces. I cooked a couple of dishes with it and ran to every store within the chain that was within a 25 mile radius only to find just 1 more jar. Now both jars are empty and I haven't been able to find any in that store since. Then it finally occurred to me that it must be available online. Thank you so much Victoria for these great seasonings and blends. I can't wait to try your Toasty Onion Herb, Smoky Paprika Chipotle, Honey Aleppo Pepper and the Zesty Lemon Herb!

This blend is awesome. I use it on speckled trout and on red fish. My Family loves it. Our stores quit carrying it, I'm really glad I looked on line.
