Green Beans with Fire-Roasted Onions

Ingredients

1 pound washed, cleaned and blanched green beans
2 tablespoons butter or olive oil

Directions

1. Wash, and pick through the green beans. Place the green beans in a pan of boiling water. Cook for 3 minutes. Drain and place the beans in an ice water bath to stop them from cooking.
2. In a large sauté pan, add the butter and green beans. Cook for about 2 minutes.
3. Transfer to serving platter and top with Fire-Roasted Onions.
