1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.
2. In a shallow bowl combine the Cumin, Ground Coriander, Turmeric, Dried Thyme, Cinnamon, black pepper, and ground cloves. Crush the Fennel seeds and add them to the spice mixture.
3. Lightly salt the salmon fillets, then dredge flesh side into spice mixture.
4. Heat oil in a large oven-safe skillet over high heat. Add seasoned fillets, skin side up - cook for 4 minutes or until flesh is golden. Turn fillets over.
5. Bake for 6 - 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove and discard skin from fillets. Serve with a tablespoon of yogurt and a lemon wedge.
