Roasted Acorn Squash with Honey Maple Squash Spice

There is something so elegant about acorn squash. Maybe it is the vibrant golden color of the flesh, maybe it's the delicate way the skin softens and sags when cooked, or maybe the pure decadence of the first bite. Regardless this 4 ingredient recipe is exquisite. 


1 Acorn Squash, halved, seeded
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 teaspoons butter

1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
2. Rub squash halves inside and out with the olive oil. Arrange cut-side up on the prepared pan. Roast 30 minutes.
3. Remove from oven – add 1 teaspoon each butter and Honey Maple Squash Spice inside each squash half. Roast 30 minutes, or until fork tender.
