Slow Roasted Sicilian Tomatoes

This recipe could not be simpler.  All you need is three ingredients – tomatoes, olive oil and Sicilian Seasoning.  These tomatoes are sweet and tart at the same time and can be served in a sauce, on a salad or you could pop them into your mouth just the way they are.       For this recipe you will need:

  • Tomatoes, seeded and sliced in half
  • Olive Oil
  • Victoria Taylor’s Sicilian Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350° Place tomatoes on a sheet pan cut side up.  Generously drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Sicilian Seasoning Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.  Place in oven for one to two hours depending on how crispy you would like them.  Best,             Victoria
