Toasted Sesame Ginger Asparagus

I’ll happily eat asparagus any which way it is served.  When I serve it, I almost always follow this recipe.  For this recipe you will need:

Slice asparagus on the diagonal into 1-2 inch pieces.  Place the asparagus into a microwave safe dish with a few tablespoons of water.  Heat on high for 3 minutes.  Remove from heat, strain, and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Combine sesame oil, soy sauce, and Toasted Sesame Ginger Seasoning in a sauté pan; heat until hot, but not smoking.  Add asparagus and cook, stirring frequently, for 2 minutes until heated through.   Serve asparagus immediately.
