Toasted Sesame Ginger Coleslaw

It's officially barbeque season and crispy coleslaw is a perfect side dish for your grilled meals.   This version has an oil and vinegar base making it lighter than the classic mayonnaise version.  This recipe can be prepped ahead of time and dressed before serving. For this recipe you will need:

  • 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Victoria Taylor’s Toasted Sesame Ginger Seasoning
  • 1 green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup radish, shredded
  • 1 red bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 6 green onions, chopped

In a medium bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, oil, soy sauce, sugar and Toasted Sesame Ginger. In a large bowl mix the cabbage, radish, red bell pepper, carrots and green onion. Toss with the Toasted Sesame Ginger and vinegar mixture just before serving. Best, Victoria
